15 years ago this week the doors of BraTopia opened to the public for the first time. We had 4 customers that day, and made 435.00. Â I had two employees and no idea what I was doing.
I also had 2 kids that were 2.5 years old, and 10 months old. Â My house was liened from the business loan that I needed to open. Â I threw up every day for one month because my nervous system couldn't handle the level of risk I had undertaken to realize this dream. Â My nanny at the time eventually confronted me because she heard the puking - and thought I was pregnant again. Â She was very relieved when I said no and explained that it was the fear of losing my house if the business didn't work out. Â She told me she would go to church every week and pray for me. Â
I was willing to do what others won't...to achieve what others can't. Â
Thank you to everyone that has supported us along the way. Â Whether you worked in-house, or walked through the front doors and left with the finest lingerie in the World! Â ![]()
